Transient Plasma Systems launches automotive ignition technology
Transient Plasma Systems develops an easy-to-integrate, cost-effective solution that boosts fuel efficiency by up to 20 percent and reduces NOx emissions by more than 50 percent. The tech startup’s goal was to increase awareness of its technology and demonstrate its expertise in the space, specifically among automotive OEMs, suppliers, technology leaders and investors.
The Airfoil Solution
To gain traction with national automotive, business and technology publications, Airfoil developed a distinct narrative around the need for advanced ignition technology systems, as the full adoption of electric vehicles stalls. We pitched this POV to highly targeted reporters covering the climate crisis, emissions and clean mobility topics. We also hosted deskside reporter briefings, and produced award and event submissions, such as Automotive News’ PACE pilot program.
Airfoil secured 12 feature news stories in highly targeted outlets, including Forbes, and conducted 11 media interviews with major news outlets including The New York Times, WIRED, MotorTrend, Automotive News, Wards Auto and Autoline. Our awards submissions led TPS to be named a BusinessGreen Technology of the Year Award Finalist for 2019, and Automotive News PACEpilot honoree for 2020.
