Detroit – May 24, 2007– Airfoil Public Relations, experts in public relations and marketing communications for both leading and emerging companies, announced that it has expanded its automotive/manufacturing and business-to-business (B-to-B) groups with two new hires: Rich Donley, account director, and Amy Bryson, account supervisor. Airfoil has also promoted Ried Artis from senior account executive to account supervisor in the agency's business-to-business (B-to-B) group.
Rich Donley, APR, brings 18 years of experience in public relations, journalism and marketing communications to his role at Airfoil as an account director. Donley is providing strategic counsel and oversight for the agency’s automotive and manufacturing technology practice, which includes global automotive suppliers, alternative-energy organizations, software providers to the auto industry, and high-tech logistics companies. Previously, he worked for more than 12 years at Bianchi Public Relations, most recently as vice president and partner, and prior to that was a news editor for Monday Morning Newspapers. His experience includes service as a broadcast coordinator for OLDE Discount Corp. and a research assistant at WDIV-TV. Donley is the executive board secretary of the Detroit Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
Amy Bryson joined Airfoil from Chicago-based Fishman Public Relations, Inc. Bryson brings several years of media relations and strategic marketing management experience including major initiatives with targeted regional publicity campaigns to support client growth goals in designated markets and reinforce brand messaging to key vertical audiences. From start-ups to mature systems with more than 1,000 units, Bryson directed multi-faceted campaigns to generate publicity in target markets throughout North America for clients that include Volvo Construction Equipment Rents (a division of the VOLVO Group), Spherion, Moran Industries, CCA Global and FASTSIGNS.
Airfoil’s growth is further reflected by the promotion of Ried Artis to account supervisor. Since joining Airfoil in August 2006 from Dolby Laboratories where she led communications efforts to shift perception of Dolby from an audio-only technology innovator to a leader in both audio and video entertainment technologies, Artis has played an integral role in service to Airfoil’s B-to-B clients.
