2015-Ford-F150-1

Consumers are fascinated by cars. That was an ever-present point at this year’s North American International Auto Show in Detroit, but if you’re anything like me you don’t know much about the interior of a vehicle, but can recognize a make and model by their looks.

The auto industry is proving that technology and the look of a vehicle is what will spark interest in consumers at the auto show this year. So, not only are vehicles looking as sleek as ever, but they will have tons of high-tech gadgets inside to make your ride even better.

Ford is taking a new spin on their top-selling F-150. The 2015 Ford F-150 will now be built with an aluminum body taking off 700 pounds from the pickup. What’s so great about that weight loss? Well, how about fuel efficiency? A pickup truck with excellent gas mileage. The aluminum truck could get up to 30 miles per gallon (MPG) highway. Don’t worry the F-150 will still have the heavy-duty functionality it always had despite the weight loss. Not to mention the surround view cameras and Ford Sync. Parallel parking is hard enough (especially in a full-sized pickup), but with surround view cameras, it should be a breeze!AudiA8

According to the article, “2015 Audi A8 and S8 at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show,” this summer Audi’s fresh and new A8 will be making its first appearance in showrooms. Audi debuted the A8 at NAIAS. Audi has added more options when it comes to the look of the A8 such as introducing five new exterior colors and 20-inch wheels.

This car not only looks rich, but has the functionality and high-tech options you won’t be able to get enough of. With Google Earth mapping, Google Voice local search functionality, and a Wi-Fi hot spot for up to eight wireless devices, you can’t get lost! Consumers can always stay on top of the weather and local news with real-time weather and news updates, too.

It’s great to see what each automaker has to offer and how technology has evolved in our vehicles. Manually rolling down a car window and limited features are definitely a thing of the past.
