Last month, the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) announced registration is open for CES 2016 taking place Jan. 6-9 in Las Vegas. From now through the end of the year, companies worldwide will be registering for the world’s largest tradeshow and become part of the more than 176,000 people and 3,600 exhibitors in attendance. For those, like myself, who nerd out over consumer electronics, the event is an exciting time to learn about the latest and greatest gadgets expected to hit the market. And, while I love seeing the new and different, as a long-time attendee of the event, being there is as equally exhausting as it is exciting, filled with a whirlwind of activity and pressure as companies around the globe jockey for attention.

So amid the hoopla, how does a company stand out from the crowd?

The key to our clients’ success has been to start preparing for CES early. In fact, right now is the time to start preparing.

For this reason, we’ve partnered with PRWeek and the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) to offer a free webinar from 1-2 p.m. ET on Thursday, August 27 to share our best practices to “Make your brand the star of CES.” As a seasoned CES veteran and member of CEA’s Communications Committee, I will be leading the webinar on behalf of Airfoil, joined by CES experts Jeff Joseph, Senior Vice President of Communications and Strategic Relationships at CEA, and John Taylor, Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications at LG Electronics USA and chair of CEA’s Communications Committee.

Together, we’ll share what you can do to begin preparing now, including:

·        Underscoring CES’ new “Content Creation” marketplace and how brands can take best advantage of the offering

·        A broader view on the opportunities CES holds for brands’ communications programs

·        Highlighting CES’ Unveiled, an exciting event opportunity coming to New York in 2016

·        How to make your exhibitor space stand out

Now you may be wondering what makes Airfoil the authority on CES. Well, we’ve been helping our clients dominate this show for years. Last year alone we secured 1,225 media interactions, more than 1,200 pieces of media coverage, and several billion impressions. Yeah, billions.

We have worked to showcase products ranging from autonomous vehicles to wearable technology to 3D food printers with clients including Delphi, Netatmo, XYZprinting, Lima, Innergie, VisualOn and more.

Our work with Parrot, in particular, launched the world’s first smartphone-controlled drone, resulting in 600 news articles and the number one YouTube video on the first day of CES. It also resulted in numerous awards for the agency, including the Silver and Bronze Anvil Awards of Excellence and the Hermes Platinum Creative Award.

Let us help you do the same. Remember, the time to prepare for CES is now.
