Creative campaign for client is recognized under the “Viral Marketing” category

Southfield, Mich., June 15, 2009 – Airfoil Public Relations was recently awarded a gold Hermes Creative Award in the competition’s “Viral Marketing” category for its work in developing a “mommy blogger” campaign in conjunction with and to support its environmentally-friendly client, ecostore USA.  Airfoil provides strategic public relations and marketing communications services to leading and emerging technology-oriented companies.

Airfoil helped support the launch of West Bloomfield, Mich.-based ecostore USA by creating and partnering with the company to execute an aggressive campaign to boost the organization’s awareness among mommy and environmental bloggers, educating both bloggers and consumers about the benefits of the all-new brand and product. ecostore USA attracted many followers and gained recognition through a variety of social media outlets.

The Hermes Creative Awards are an international competition for creative professionals involved in the conceptualization, writing and design of traditional communications materials and programs, and emerging technologies. The awards are given to marketing and communication professionals who contribute their unique talents to public service and charitable organizations, and are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals.

“We’re so proud of this recognition because it shows Airfoil’s expertise in marketing tactics, especially in social media outlets,” said Airfoil Senior Vice President Tracey Parry. “ecostore USA is an emerging company in the fast-growing environmental sector, and Airfoil successfully launched its presence in the U.S. and achieved very successful results through a very strategic and focused online communications campaign.”
